Spelersmarkt is a Dutch search engine for team sports. It tries to connect players, coaches and teams and was developed by me during my study in an attempt to bridge the gap between players and coaches looking for a new club and clubs/teams looking for new players or coaches. As this was just a side-project (and basically one of the first data driven sites I have ever built), it has only grown organically, but since its launch it has remained operational and has matched over 150k profiles, leading to numerous people finding a new club, team or coach.
